We are on the Surrey/Sussex border and few miles from Hampshire. With three counties to explore there’s lots to see and do.
Cowdray Park offers a wealth of activites including Golf at the award winning course, Clay Pigeon and Simulated Game Shooting, Fly Fishing, and of course Polo and the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup. Cowdray estate and Ruins are open to visitors for walking, historical and wildlife tours.
Goodwood, a stunning location on the South Downs for Horse Racing including Glorious Goodwood, and Motor Racing , The Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. There’s also Golf and Flying Experiences.
Gardens and Estates abound in the 3 counties. Arundel Castle towering above the village. Ramster Garden is particularly colourful in Spring and Early Summer. Petworth Park and Pulborough, Winkworth Arboretum, The Weald and Downlands Museum and RHS Wisley Gardens are all nearby. Not to mention some of the finest gardens in the National Garden Scheme.
Cycling, Horse Riding, Walking and Hot Air Balloon Rides, so many ways to see this beautiful countryside. Miles of paths direct from the farm onto National Trust Land of Blackdown with its spectacular views of three counties, the highest point in the South of England. The Devil’s Punchbowl now unspoilt with the opening of the Hindhead Tunnel. Wonderful coastline at West Wittering and Little Hampton.
Shopping in historic towns and villages. The county town of Guildford, historic Chichester and Winchester. Petworth, renowned as the antique centre of southern England. Delightful market towns of Midhurst and Haslemere. The famous Lanes of Brighton and designer shopping at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth.
